Shane joined Canaccord Genuity in April 2018 and has spent his career in wealth management. His practice of investments started at a young age and developed over 18 years with Scotia McLeod, beginning in 2000. He has made a successful transition over to Canaccord Genuity and continues to grow his business.
As a dedicated family man who has four beautiful children, Shane is a true believer in planning for the future; whether that be for children's education or total wealth planning for the household. Shane prides himself on his love of the business and his practiced approach to looking after his clients and their families with complex financial situations.
Energized by the connection that investing has to world affairs, his clients value the tenacity and candor he brings to his proactive relationship management approach. Inspired by each of his clients, he takes time to listen first. With openness and know-how, Shane takes great pleasure in getting to know his clients and helping get them get to where they need to be.
Shane has completed several Canadian Securities Institute courses including the CSC, CPH, LLQP, PFP, OTC, and holds his CIM designation. Shane was honored by the Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC) in both 2016 and 2017 as one of the top 40 investment advisors in Canada under the age of 40.
Outside of his career, Shane enjoys being active with his children and spends time giving back to various communities. For many years, he has lent his personal support and fundraising efforts to the Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care in Toronto, The SickKids Hospital, Brain Matters Charity, JACS Toronto for Mental Health and Addiction Support and The Beth Sholom First Foundations Community Preschool.

Hema began her career in financial services in 2011 after moving from New York to Toronto to attend the University of Toronto, Mississauga. She earned her BA in Sociology with a specialty in Crime, Deviance and Behavior. She worked as a Customer Service Representative at Scotiabank, afterwards moving into Private Banking. During her time with Scotiabank, she received the "Best of the Best" award, demonstrating her character and support to clients and staff. Her focus lies on consistently delivering an exceptional experience for clients.
With a desire to learn more about investments, Hema joined Dubin Wealth Management in 2017. As a Business Development Associate with Canaccord Genuity, she takes pride in maintaining strong professional relationships with every client.
Wealth & Estate Planning Services
Having always had a keen interest in the Financial Service Industry, Elizabeth joined Canaccord Genuity’s Wealth and Estate Planning Team in 2019. Elizabeth is a graduate of Dalhousie University where she obtained a degree in Business Management. She has completed the Canadian Securities Course and is currently working towards the LLQP Designation.
